Scarlet Ornate Playing Cards

In 2012, Randy Butterfield of Midnight Card Company created the Ornate playing cards edition, inspired by bright colors and gemstones. A total of 4 color versions were created and divided into two sets - Emerald/Amethyst and Sapphire/Scarlet.

The Ornate Scarlet cards are red and match the Ornate Sapphire cards.

The Ornate edition, like the rest of the Midnight Card Company cards, has completely redesigned faces - figure design, symbol color and layout, and background color. The Spades and Clubs have a grey-black background with bronze symbols and blue details. Hearts and Diamonds have silver symbols on a red background.

The reverse design is very ornamental, making the cards look luxurious and stand out in flourishes and at the card table.

The deck includes red and blue Jokers and a special half-back/double-back gaff card.

The cards were printed by the USPCC on Aristocrat stock. The cards have a Magic Finish.

Limited edition of 2.500 decks.
